Infections due to Candida specides account for about 80% of all major systemic fungal infections. Candida is now the fourth most prevalent organism found in bloodstream infections and is the most common cause of fungal infections in immunocompromised prople.

Fungi create toxins that block normal nutrient absorption. They grow into Rhizoids that take deep root in your intestinal walls causing similar symptoms to Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Eventually Rhizoids inflame and cause Leaky Gut Syndrome.

Once their toxins get into your blood, it is called Systemic Candida, a fungal invasion that affects virtually every organ and tissue. Later stages develop into bowel disorders, food intolerances, environmental sensitivities, allergies and even asthma. Auto-immune disorders develop as your body begins attacking itself at the cellular level.

Because the Candida fungus bores into your intestinal walls, toxins can leak into the bloodstream; this is called Leaky Gut Syndrome. Common symptoms are:

Food allergies and intolerances
Migraines

  Foggy brain
Muscle aches

After Candida has successfully invaded your entire body, it can disrupt the endocrine system causing symptoms such as:
  Thrush
Cystitis
Menstrual irregularities/PMS
Joint pains
Allergies /Asthma/Hayfever
Sinusitis
Fungal infections of the nails/skin
Weight gain or weight loss
Ear infections
Chronic tiredness

Symptoms of Candida contamination in the intestines include:
  Bloatedness
Flatulence
Diarrhea and/or constipation
Itchy anus

The following are some factors that can make you more vulnerable to a Candida infection:
  Infancy or old age
Warm climate
Occlusion (pantyhose, dental plates)
Immune deficiencies
Broad spectrum antibiotic treatment Contraceptive pill or pregnancy
  Chemotherapy or immunosuppressive medications
Diabetes mellitus, Cushing's syndrome and other endocrine conditions
Iron deficiency
General debility e.g. from cancer or malnutrition
Underlying skin disease e.g. psoriasis
Consuming foods injected with antibiotics
